FRIENDS IN LIFE EDUCATION PEER CLUB

A new world for women and the young

Friends in Life Education Peer Club (FLEP Club) works to change the situation of disadvantaged young women and children by involving target communities in efforts aimed at finding solution to their problems. We facilitate change through direct involvement with individuals and families and through partnership with other non profit organizations. We believe that education and exposure to opportunities for self help can aid community transformation and eradication of poverty. In line with this, we aid communities to learn to break the cycle of poverty and ill health caused by inhumane conditions by supporting programs that equip recipients with useful education and skills to eradicate illiteracy, unemployment, and to get involved in sustainable enterprise. Our core area of empowerment is agricultural skills development which is the bedrock of Nigerian economic history.  All these efforts are aimed at improving health, sustaining environment, protecting human rights and reducing poverty.
